Hidroelectrica is the location of the starting point for a beautiful hike through tropical landscape to Aguas Calientes, a tourist village in Machu Picchu. The trail is a flat path that follows train rails, meaning there is no chance of getting lost. On average it takes about two hours to reach Aguas Calientes and the walk is filled with breathtaking sites. Dogs cannot join you as you visit the archaeological site, but there will be plenty of opportunity for you to spend time together on your way there and back!
