Prepare for unexpected vet bills
The Eskifon, which is a hybrid dog breed created by breeding an American Eskimo and Brussels Griffon, can be stubborn and bossy, but they need exercise all the same. These dogs are generally less than 20 pounds and require about 30 minutes of moderate activity every day. They are fun-loving and enjoy playing outside and spending lots of time with their families. For these reasons, it is very easy to get creative with activities for your Eskifon. At Wag!, we have a few different ideas for fun activities that you can take part in with your Eskifon without getting bored. Here are some of our favorite ideas.
If you are planning on spending a day at the beach any time soon, you should consider bringing your Eskifon with you! Many dogs love to play in the sand and water, and if you have a dog-friendly beach nearby, this is a great way to spend time with your pooch. Make sure that you never force your dog to get into the water, but if they want to swim, it can be a lot of fun for them to hop on in the ocean. If your dog doesn't love to get in the water, let them enjoy the sun and the sand instead. But, make sure that there is always fresh water for them to drink nearby. If shade is needed, set up an umbrella for cooling off sessions.
Who doesn't love to dance around the house? Eskifons are naturally preppy, so this is a great way to help your pooch release pent up energy. All you need is some fun music to dance to. If your dog doesn't seem interested in dancing with you, you can always try to entice them with treats! Put some music on and groove around your house. If you want to actually teach your dog dance moves, you can try to teach them a few with the treats, but it isn't a requirement for a fun dance party in the house with your favorite pup!
Interactive treat toys can be a great way to occupy your dog's time when you don't have a lot of time to dedicate to them. Eskifons, like most dogs, love to get a treat from time to time, so these toys are the perfect way to reward them while keeping them busy. There are numerous different kinds of treat toys. You can pick those that are stuffed with treats that your dog can lick out, or you can select a treat dispensing toy that will drop treats for your dog when they manipulate the toy in a certain way. Both are great options for your pooch!
