AND NOW BECAUSE OF THAT FIRE THE , ALLIANCE GOT THIS MASSIVE DONATION. 13 PALLETS OF FOOD ENOUGH FOR 50,000 MEALS WHICH IN THE SHELTER TERMS, CAN LAST ABOUT A MONTH. IT WAS DONATED BY GREATER ODGO CHARITIES AND THE APP FOR PET OWNERS CALLED WAG. THE PET ALLIANCE SAYS IT COMES AT A GOOD TIME, THEY HAD TO CLEAR OUT THEIR STOCKPILE AFTER THE FIRE. >> AT ONE POINT WE H 3AD WA REHOUSES FULL OF FOOD. The Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando received a truckload of food that will provide up to 50,000 meals for homeless pets.The donation is needed after a year of the pandemic and a devastating fire that destroyed their Orange County building. The thirteen pallets of food donated by Greater Good Charities and the pet owner app called WAG can last about a month.Those with the Pet Alliance said the donation came at a great time, just after they had to clear out a stockpile because of the fire. The donation includes food for dogs and cats at the shelter waiting for a new home and those in foster care. It also frees up money the Pet Alliance would otherwise have to spend to feed them.The Pet Alliance is still working to build a new facility in Orlando which they hope will open, next year.
