Occurring at the Salvage Station Riverside Restaurant, this is the only day all year the dogs are welcome to romp around the beautiful riverfront location. The event features an adopt-a-thon, entertainment by the Ultimate Air Dogs, music, animal seminars, food trucks, a wiener dog race, doggie contests, craft brews, and more! Biltmore Estate
Nestled in the mountains of Asheville, the Biltmore Estate is George Vanderbilt's 8,000-acre estate established more than a century ago and it is dog-friendly! Vistors are welcome to wander the elegantly landscaped gardens and grounds with leashed dogs or explore inside the 250-room chateau. Though dogs aren't allowed inside the house, the grounds offer self-service kennels to house your pal while you tour inside! The kennels are unattended and meant for short spans of time. Each kennel locks and you take the key along with you while you're inside. Admission includes not only access to explore the house and grounds, but also exhibition viewing and free tastings at the Winery. The grounds are perfect for walking your leashed pets and you are encouraged to bring them along!
