Give a Wag! Gives to Lafayette Shelters

Natalie's Second Chance is a no-kill dog shelter that was founded in 2009 by Natalie Moore.  It is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that relies heavily on donations from fellow animal lovers and from the help of community volunteers to assist them with caring for their dog family. They accept owner surrenders, strays and have pulled many dogs or pup from high-kill shelters in Indiana and other states as well. Any dog is welcome no matter the breed, age or health. They accept pregnant moms, puppies, injured dogs, seniors, special needs pooches and even dogs that need behavioral training.  If there is room, money and the support needed to take in a dog, or foster a dog, no one will be turned away!

Now if you are looking for a new little furry heartbeat to make your family complete, Natalie's Second Chance has a whole bunch of precious pups for you to fall in love with!  Your new family member could be waiting for you right now and they can't wait to meet you!

All dogs are tested for temperament and receive all necessary veterinary care before being placed in their forever homes. In many cases, Natalie's Second Chance likes to have a potential new paw parent to foster first to get to know the dog before making the lifelong commitment of responsible pet parenting. The staff treats their dogs like family and want to be sure they ALL get their happily ever after.

Natalie's Second Chance also offers a food bank for pet owners in need to help properly feed their pets. Dog food and cat food is available at no charge and no requirements need to be met for this provision. Natalie's knows you love your pet and want to ensure they are cared for and receive proper nutrition even when life happens and money is light. They are here to help! If you are blessed or have been blessed by their service in the past, please consider making a donation of food back to the food bank when you are able. We all want the best for our pets; by working together in their best interest, we all win!
