Give a Wag! Gives to Norco Shelters

2nd Chances Rescue is a Norco animal rescue shelter that deals with the rescue, care, and adoption of dogs. Dogs are rescued from other shelters, from homes where they can no longer be looked after, and from the streets. This is a non-profit organization that is run by volunteers who work very hard to rescue, care for, and re-home the dogs. They even provide support, training, and education for those who are taking on the shelter dogs. If dogs need training, the shelter is able to provide both volunteer and professional training assistance as part of its training program.

Gentle Giants Rescue and Adoptions focuses on the rescue of giant breeds. In fact, it is the largest giant-breed dog rescue shelter in the world and its aim is to help these gentle giants to enjoy happy and fulfilling lives with families and individuals who are able to provide them with the care that they need. The organization is an international one and it is run by the star of the 1960s Batman series ‘Robin the Boy Wonder - Burt Ward, and his wife Tracy. Over the past couple of decades, thousands of giant breeds have been rescued by the organization.

When it comes to dogs, cats, and other pets in need, the Mary S. Roberts Pet Adoption Center works tirelessly to try and find loving new homes for the rescue animals. The center runs a number of events each year as well as taking on volunteers and accepting donations in a bid to help more animals. This non-profit organization is part of the Riverside Human Society, which has been in operation since the 1890s. This charity does a huge amount of work to help give dogs and cats a second chance in life by finding them a loving new family and home. The center also runs many community programs including the PAC Paws Program and the Rovers Walking Program.
