2nd Chance Dog Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping abandoned and abused dogs get back on their feet and regain their trust in humans. They offer adoptions to families within 50 miles of Queen Creek and focus on dogs that are most likely to be placed on the euthanasia list.
A non-profit, no-kill animal rescue, Desert Paws works to place dogs, cats, and other domestic animals in loving homes. They also host numerous events designed to educate the public about how to be a good pet owner in an effort to stop the growing problem of abandoned and abused pets.
Established in July 2014, AZ Care operates out of nearby San Tan Valley and strives to reduce the number of pets on the euthanasia list in the area. They are currently working on building a much bigger facility, but maintain their commitment to educating locals. AZ Care offers youth programs aimed at offering insight on the pet overpopulation problem and best practices for ending suffering on the streets, in abusive homes, and in shelters.
