Held at a variety of participating local venues, this dog-friendly pub crawl allows you to bring your dog along while you enjoy a refreshing beverage or three! It’s a wonderful way to meet new people and give your furry friend a chance to make some new canine chums. The suggested donation of $15 allows you to get a wristband for drink specials at the participating bars, and you also get the warm, fuzzy feeling of knowing that all donations help the animals at Austin Humane Society.

NXNW Oktoberfest
NXNW Oktoberfest is Austin’s longest running Oktoberfest, and it’s not hard to see why. This dog-friendly festival invites dog lovers to sit back, relax, and enjoy themselves with their furry friends. The event features bounce houses for the kids, a simply adorable doggy costume contest, heaps of adoptable animals from Austin Humane Society, and heaps more! And because this paw-some event is held at NXNW Restaurant and Brewery in Stonelake, you know there will always be plenty of delicious refreshments available! Admission is via a suggested $2 donation, which goes to help the dogs at cats at Austin Humane Society that are still searching for their forever homes.

Each year, it sees a plethora of canines show off their coiffure in categories such as dog and owner look alike, best-groomed, styled beard and moustache, and gnarliest beard!
