Give a Wag! Gives to Savannah Shelters

The largest shelter in Savannah, the Humane Society of Savannah is responsible for a number of community-based programs, particularly their low-cost clinic. They provide guidance on training and pet-friendly housing in addition to their Nuzzle Buddies Program, in which children read aloud to adoptable dogs. Now if that is not one the sweetest things you have ever heard, then you need to check your soul! Being the biggest, the Humane Society maintains robust community partnerships to ensure they have the money to serve Savannah well.

Georgia Rescue, Rehabilitation, and Relocation (GRRR) is a small no-kill rescue that focuses on saving small dogs from homelessness and neglect. They make a point to save the neediest animals with significantly small chance of finding a forever home. GRRR is limited by resources, and yet they have managed to save at least 300 animals from a seemingly certain fate by consistently hosting adoption events all over Savannah.

One Love Animal Rescue is a gap service provider for many of the main local shelters in Savannah, promoting adoption events and local low-cost pet clinics. One Love Animal Rescue is a firm believer in positive reinforcement and training opportunities. They frequently host training events in the community such as reactive dog demonstrations. Additionally, One Love organizes fundraising events like poker tournaments.
