Tails and Tastings
Join the Blue Mountain Humane Society for the annual Tails and Tastings event at Waterbrook Tasting Room off of Highway 12. Enjoy complimentary wine tastings, homemade dog treats, and a canine agility course where your dog can show off his skills!
Your mutt is welcome to roam the grounds and meet all kinds of new friends, both human and canine.
Blue Mountain Humane Society will have adoptable dogs on-site that you can meet, and maybe even bring home with you!
Registration is required, but it costs $15 per person. The tasting event begins at 12 pm and finishes by 5 pm.

Dog Jog
Each April, the Blue Mountain Humane Society holds a walk and run event to raise money to care for homeless pets in the Walla Walla area. The Dog Jog 5k takes place at the Walla Walla Community College at 9 am on a Sunday each April. So, leash up your dog and get ready to run!
Registration is required for the event. If you register early, the fee is $10 per person or $20 per person for a t-shirt and dog bandana. If you register after the first of April, the registration fee is $15 without any goodies.
Following the run, join the other participants in a small festival with music, carnival games, vendor booths, goodie bags, and a raffle!

Walla Walla Kennel Club Dog Show
At the end of each April, the Walla Walla Kennel Club hosts a free Dog Show for locals to attend at the Pendleton Convention Center! The show will feature a variety of different dog breeds, including some unique breeds that you may not see every day. Your dog will enjoy meeting many new friends during this fun day!
There will be obedience and rally events that you can enter with your dog for a small fee. You can pre-register or register at the event - if there is still room.

Cupcake for Pup’s Sake
In July, the Blue Mountain Humane Society hosts a bake sale called Cupcake for Pup’s Sake. Held at the shelter, visitors are asked to stop in to buy sweet goodies to help raise money for the humane society’s capital campaign!
The event begins at 1 pm and ends at 4 pm or whenever all the bake sale goodies have been purchased.
Bake sale donations are appreciated if you're as good at making treats as you are at eating them! During the event, there will be an area to drop off donations from the shelter’s wish list as well.
The event is free to attend, and bake sale items will be for sale at various prices, so bring your change!

Spay-ghetti and No Balls Dinner
To help raise money for Blue Mountain Humane Society’s capital campaign, the organization hosts a spaghetti dinner each year in July from 4 pm to 8 pm. Each purchase of a meal will raise funds for the shelter, and the Murr Family Foundation generously matches each donation to help the shelter!
Dinner tickets will be available for purchase online or at the event for only $15 per plate. There will also be wine available for purchase for dine-in customers. Wine will be sold at $3 per glass - a steal!
Dogs are welcome to mingle at the event as well, which is held at the humane society.
