Hello I'm Ariel, I have live with Animals all my life and I have to say dogs are my favorite animals! I started learning dog training when I was 12 years old before then I was reading any dog book I could find. To this day I still think it was the best class I have taken as it helped me understand my childhood dog Callisto better and has helped with many other dogs. I have lived with a taken care of dogs of different sizes, ages and temperaments and have found that patience and listening to body language is the key to making good friends man or beast.
Hi, I believe love is a four legged word. I am friendly, polite and love all fur babies. I have experience with all sizes dogs from chihuahua’s to Mastadors. I am dependable, hardworking, trustworthy and have reliable transportation. I enjoy the outdoors whether the sun is shinning or we catch a few sprinkles. I have witnessed the great effects of a good walk / run in my own dogs. I would like to help you get your pet outside for a walk so you can experience the same.

Hi my name is Elijah, I’m 20 from Sacramento. I live in Los Angeles for school. In my lifetime I’ve had about 10 dogs in all shapes and sizes and I’ve taken care of them all by myself since I was a little kid. Unfortunately I don’t get to see the three dogs I have now at home often since I am away for school but I feel like this is a great opportunity to do something I love.

Hello My name is Gay and I can't wait to walk your fur baby. When I'm not walking my dog or yours I am spending time with a variety of aquatic animals. I've always loved animals, and I cant can't wait to share that love with your baby.
I have been an animal lover since I can remember. As a child, we always had at least one dog and at least one cat at home, as well as a family horse. Currently, I have four fur babies (in addition to my human son), and a few scaly and amphibious ones, too! Of my fur babies, three are rescues, and all considered part of the family. I look forward to treating your fur baby as I do my own: spoiling him or her with the love and affection that they deserve in your absence. ~Melisa
Howdy, I'm Evan! I've had a lifelong love of dogs, getting my first pup, a boston terrier/australian shepherd mix, at the age of 5. Since then I've had the pleasure of owning big dogs and little dogs of various temperaments, and trained a few to boot! I've pet-sat for friends and family many times, and I've always left those puppers just as happy and healthy as they were when the owner left. I can't wait to meet your furry friend and help them get the exercise they need and deserve!

Only 20 minutes away from Sacramento, Davis, California, is near numerous animal shelters that seek to help stray pets find homes in the area. These shelters are an important part of the community, and two of them are very convenient for Davis residents: Hearts for Paws and Yolo County SPCA.
Hearts for Paws is a non-profit animal rescue that removes dogs from overcrowded shelters where they would likely be euthanized. All the animals that are rescued by Hearts for Paws are fostered by a loving family or live with the founders of Hearts for Paws. Operating from Flying Horse Farms, there are 25 acres for the rescue dogs to roam and dwell on. As a non-profit, Hearts for Paws runs off of donations, fundraising, and adoption fees. Foster families are crucial to the operation as well.
Yolo County SPCA runs an animal shelter that provides food and medical care for homeless pets while they try to find them new homes. Animals in the shelter are spayed and neutered before leaving to prevent more unwanted animals on the streets of Davis and other towns in Yolo County. The shelter runs a catch, alter, and release program for feral cats to prevent more litters of stray cats in the area. Animals may also be housed in foster homes and cared for by volunteers.
If you are looking for a new pet in the Davis, California, area, consider visiting Hearts for Paws or Yolo County SPCA. You are likely to find your new best friend at one of these two woof-tastic animal shelters!
