I have had a house full of animals ever since I was a little boy. I have personally taken care of 5 of my own dogs. This includes the bare essentials of walking, playing, feeding, bathing and maintaining the happiness of my dogs. I have a passion for dogs in particular because they are such a care free species. They will show you how happy they are or they can show you that something is wrong.

My best friend growing up was a terrier named Sacanni. When there is a stray dog around I'm often the one called to round them up. I'm lucky to live with a dog and even a cat that thinks he is one (comes when called).

“Top Dog Express”

Hi, I'm Daniel. I grew up in California housesitting for my uncles 3 Pitbull Mastiffs since I was 13. It was a daunting task at first - but over the years it made me become a dog whisperer of sorts. I am an animal lover in general, but K-9's are my speciality. I enjoy nature and jogging. I want to give your loyal companion the best workout possible. I will be thrilled if you let me be a part of your happy K-9 family too!

Dog Boarding in Long Beach

No matter where you go in California, you’re more or less guaranteed to find a tight-knit community of dog owners and animal lovers. So it’s no great surprise that if you ever visit Long Beach, a coastal city within the Greater Los Angeles area, you’ll also find a host of animal welfare groups working hard to improve the lives of the region’s homeless pets!

Seal Beach Animal Care Center is one of those groups. Opened in 1988, the Seal Beach Animal Care Center is on a mission to create a community that cares for animals with responsibility and compassion. A non-profit, no-kill animal shelter, it is committed to helping every single animal that comes into its care find a loving forever home.

The spcaLA is also ready to rise to the occasion whenever an animal needs help! This independent, non-profit animal welfare organization has been assisting the animals of Southern California since 1877. As well as matching abandoned and homeless pets with loving, permanent homes, spcaLA also runs animal cruelty investigations, a Disaster Animal Response Team, and provides educational services.

Donations to spcaLA are always welcome, while volunteers are crucial to ensure that this inspirational non-profit can continue helping dogs and other pets in need.

Interfaith Blessing of the Animals

There are few things in life that help us overcome our differences and unite together quite like our pets, and nowhere is that more evident than at this wonderful annual event. Held on the concrete boat launch ramp next to Rosie's Dog Beach, the Interfaith Blessing of the Animals sees creatures great and small (and their people) gather for a pet blessing. You and your furry friend can join other dogs as well as cats, horses, birds, lizards, rabbits, turtles, and even alpacas at this heartwarming event! One of the largest pet blessings anywhere in the world, it’s been held in Long Beach every year since 2002.
