I’ve owned dogs all my life, and have babysat dogs in the past. I’ve always been good about teaching a dog how to be on a leash, and helping keeping them away from people or other dogs that I feel like will make the dog uncomfortable. My love for animals, dogs in particular grows deep. Which is why I’m studying to become a vet tech to help animals that are in need of medical attention. Thank you, for considering me!

Known as the gateway to the Sequoias, the city of Valasia, CA is a sunny place to visit for those who love outdoor activities like camping, hiking and exploring the nearby National Park. It’s also home to the Valley Oak SPCA, located at 9800 Camp Drive.

They consider their work an honor and are committed to connecting pets and people in the city where they live.

Tails will be wagging next Spring when local dogs are invited to the Rawhide stadium to watch the game! This doggie-positive event is held in April, with plenty of dog’s woofing the home team on. Some pooches look really cool in baseball caps supporting their local team! Their pet parents only have to pay $3 for a pooch pass to get them into the ballpark. Seating is assigned up to the right of the field on the grass where dogs can howl every time their team hits a home run! All proceeds from the pooch passes go to “Love of Animals”, a local non-profit animal fostering program. Check out their Facebook page for more details!
