“4.96 Star Rated - Top Walker - Thank You!”

Hello, I am Cindy and I love dogs. All kinds of dogs. I am retired and decided I want to walk other peoples dogs since both my lovers died this year of old age. I miss having a dog around very much but want to do some travelling right now. I would love the chance to spoil your dogs rotten just like I used to do mine. For the past 6 years, I have spent many hours a day helping shelter dogs get relocated out of Kentucky (where the animal protection laws are the worst in the nation).

“I love animals and I can't wait to meet your pet!”

Hi, I'm Kenzie! To me, pets count as additional family members. I have lived with cats and dogs for my entire life. I'm familiar with all sizes and breeds. I've worked with many families for years, house- and pet-sitting and then I started walking for Wag in March of 2018. I love getting to know the pets I work with, because I think that each and every animal has their own quirks and personality. Thank you for taking the time to get to know me. I can't wait to do the same with your furry friend!

I have been around dogs my whole life. I grew up with small and medium sized dogs in my own home. I also had many family members owned dogs. I now own two large dogs, a 5 year old Siberian Husky/Alaskan Malamute Mix and a 2 years old Doberman/Lab Mix. I have taken care of many different breeds and different sized dogs as well.

Hey! I'm Cameron, a lifelong dog lover and transplant from the South. I've been living in Kansas City for almost 3 years and I've grown to love and appreciate this city. I love getting outdoors with my own dogs, but sometimes they can't keep up. So I thought it would take this opportunity with Wag to meet more people and pups and learn more about Kansas City.

Dog Boarding in Kansas City

The Humane Society of Greater Kansas City is the largest shelter in Kansas City. Since opening its doors in 1912, this facility has proven to be the most paw-some shelter around. In 1994, the shelter made headlines by becoming the first no-kill shelter in the area. From that point forward, they have been able to expand and improve their facility by relocating to a building with 10,000 square feet that is sprawled across 10 whole acres of land!

They have provided a new leash on life for many different types of animals since their opening and provide the public with affordable, low-cost spay, neutering, and many other procedures, to help fur-babies in need. As a non-profit shelter, the Humane Society depends on the generosity of the community to keep them up and running, by accepting donations of all sorts. In addition, they also have a “Charity Care Pet Program,” that was created to help families that are in need of financial assistance.

The Humane Society also provides the community with various events and fundraisers throughout the year, to raise money and promote adoptable pets. This shelter has gained the praise of many locals by off-furring a wonderful environment in which to bring their furry friends. By treating the public with substantial care, the Humane Society of Greater Kansas City, will be able to continue this mutually beneficial relationship for many years to come.
