West Guntersville
Located separately on the peninsula and nestled on the banks of Tennessee River, Guntersville is a unique city set west of Alpine and north of Huntsville. In the western part of town, you won't find many tourist attractions or amazing spots to take a picture, but you will find a place for your lovely pooch to have a furrific time off-leash. Guntersville Dog Park is located within Tom Jackson Park, a neighbor of Ogletree Park. The place is divided into two parts for small and large breeds; both sections have fences and are protected from fleeing or fights. Let your mutt go wild running off-leash in the grassy area, making new friends and chasing their tails, or train your pup to keep him in good shape. This is a bring-your-own-water park, so grab a bottle on the way there.

South Cullman
South Cullman is a busy part of the state with main highways and traffic moving back and forth to Birmingham and Huntsville.
