Dog Areas in Angola on the Lake

The town of Evans, located in Erie County, New York, includes the village of Angola and Angola on the Lake. As the name suggests, Angola on the Lake is a lakeside community on Lake Eerie. In case of emergency, you'll have access to two veterinary clinics, both within a 15-minute drive. Sadly, a prominent feature of the area, Bennett Beach, is not dog-friendly, but don’t let that discourage you! There are plenty of activities for you and your furry friend to enjoy within an hour’s reach.

If you head north to the city Buffalo, you will find Wilkenson Pointe Park, which features a paved walking trail. You will need to bring a leash and bags, but the park provides water dishes during the summer. Another attraction of the park which owners can enjoy is the beer garden. If the beer garden does not sound appealing to you, Buffalo contains over thirty fur-iendly restaurants from which to choose.

Northeast of Buffalo is the town of Clarence. Clarence is home to 16.7 miles of rail-trail (trails that follow the former paths of railroads) known as Clarence Pathways. Both you and your pal are sure to enjoy this pawesome trek.
