This neighborhood is about a half-hour drive from the strip in Las Vegas and is about 48 miles from Arrolime, Nevada. It’s a nice place to enjoy nature with your pooch and yet not be too far from the city. The Red Rock Canyon National Conservation area has a lot of nice trails that you and your pooch can walk on. The trails are about medium difficulty, and you’ll need to keep your pooch on a leash that is no longer than 6 feet. There are baggies available for clean-up. However, keep in mind that the temperature does get hot and there isn't much shade. You will need to bring extra water for you and your pet so neither of you get overheated. For a great day in the sun, this is the place to visit!

When you're in Vegas, be sure to visit the Centennial Hills Dog Park. This dog park is located close to Arrolime and is a great place for your pooch to meet other fur-iends. At this off-leash dog park, your pup can explore the grassy, somewhat dirt-covered terrain inside an area that is completely fenced-in. If you’re worried about how your pooch will get along with others, there are two different sections: one for larger dogs and one for smaller dogs. There are shaded areas for owners to sit and chat while their pups play. The park also offers water faucets for thirsty pups. You’ll have to bring your own poop bags and Fido’s favorite toy. Something to keep in mind, though, is every Thursday morning the park is closed for maintenance and mowing.
