Aubrey, TX was once known for its peanut crop -- a way of life its proud citizens celebrate with an annual festival. Though peanut farming in the area was all but through at the turn of this century, the town has had a resurgence of life in recent years. Many ranchers have been attracted to the area, and the small city has been nicknamed "Horse Country." With a population of just under 3,500, Aubrey may be small, but there’s still room for two veterinary clinics to take good care of your buddy, and emergency services are available in nearby Frisco.
There’s no dog park in Aubrey, but you and your pooch can still sniff out something to do! There are some trails to explore close to Lake Ray Roberts -- the town is home to its own slice of the gorgeous greenbelt. Several pawesome community parks are great for leashed walks. Lesley Park in particular is well worth a visit. For doggy dining, try World Famous MOMs, a furrific local joint that caters to canine customers at their outdoor tables. And don’t forget, the town is well served by roads and highways. You’re only a short drive away from somewhere you can let your furry friend run free!
Hi, I am Yuri! I am super excited to be apart of Wag! I grew up around dogs and taking care of them. I recently got a puppy and have found the time spent with her has been relaxing. I have experience walking dogs and also sitting for them as well. I love helping fellow dog parents out while they are away. My pup and I would love to have other dogs join us for walks. I am also looking forward to solo walks with your dog as well. I plan to accommodate your dog in whatever way possible. If the the dog or puppy is happy. So am I:) I can't wait to be apart of your Wag experience.
