For dog-friendly hiking, look no fur-ther than the Ray Roberts Lake Greenbelt Trail. This pawsitively lush, 21-mile corridor runs from Denton all the way up to the lake. There’s a wide selection of paved and dirt trails available, most of which are well-shaded by trees. Dogs are welcome as long as they stay on leash, but watch out for cyclists and horses! Just remember to bring your own bags to keep the area clean. Water fountains are scarce on the route, so you might want to bring your own from home.0

Dogs aren’t allowed on the beach at Little Elm Park, but you and your pup can still have a good time at this lovely lakeside spot!
