The area is flush with colonial and traditional architectural styles and is a great choice for small families and their furry friends. Nestled right at the end of the neighborhood is Riley’s Run Dog Park. The park offers members a fenced-in enclosure where your dogs can run around off-leash while you supervise nearby. Keep in mind a membership will be needed in addition to your pet’s Village of Bartlett pet license. The park has doggie fountains to keep hydrated, but you are required to bring a pooper scooper by law.

Hanover Park is just a few minutes away from the main district of Bartlett and is home to the meadows and woodlands that make up the massive Hawk Hollow Forest Preserve. Running parallel to the river, you will find the Fox River Trail, which spans 44 miles from Algonquin to Aurora. In South Elgin, you can access the trail right in the center of town, just next to the SEBA park.
