Situated on the shores of Sunrise Lake, the Lakeside Commons Park is one of the most popular venues in Blaine thanks to its beach and splash pad. Unfurtunately, these areas are off-limits to canines, but you and your pooch can take a leashed walk on the trails, which will lead you to the other parks around the lake. East, South, and West Lake Parks all offer trails to stroll on, picnic shelters to relax under, and playground equipment for the kids to enjoy. Located within Aquatore Park, this dog park has separate areas for large and small canines, both of which are fully fenced and provide plenty of room to run around. Doggie waste bags, drinking fountains, picnic tables, security lights, and a shelter with power are available on-site as well. About half a mile from Aquatore is the pet-friendly Super 8, which welcomes canine travelers for an additional fee. A maximum of two 25-pound dogs are allowed per room. Be sure to call first to ensure a smooth check-in process!
