The over four acres in Hanley Park include an asphalt trail that connects to three other parks. Need a place to stay in Brentwood? Drury Inn & Suites offer a traveling person and their pup a place to put up that leash and rest those tired paws. This Fido-friendly hotel allows two dogs of any size to stay for an additional $25 per night.

Maplewood is adjacent to Brentwood. Kellogg Park has a dog park for your pup to run and play sans leash. A separate fenced enclosure keeps those small dogs safe. The ground is mostly wood chips, but dogs don't mind. The dog park is built on a hillside, which makes it more fun to run and sniff There is water for people and their pups nearby, and shade is plentiful for the human companions. Doggie waste baggies are in good supply. This dog park is a membership-only dog park. Brentwood residents are part of a park cooperative, and get a reduced fee.

The Eastern University City neighborhood is only a few miles north of Brentwood. The City Dog Park will beckon your pup to play! St. Louis Hills is about five miles south of Brentwood. Southwest City Dog Park at Willmore Park has over an acre of fenced natural space for a pup to find a reason to wag a tail. This "no-leash-allowed" area for dogs has a separate spot for the small dogs to play without fear. The dog park has drinking water for the pups and the people. The shade of the large old trees in Willmore makes no summer day too hot not to play! Kiddie pools show up in the hot months to assist in the cool-down. This dog park is a members-only dog park. Registration is with the Homeowner's Association.

Sunset Hills is eight miles south of Brentwood. Kitun Dog Park, located on Eddie and Park Road, has about an acre of space for pups to play off-leash and sniff out some new friends! Small canines have their own separate area here. Agility equipment adds to the fun and provides a space to train. Water fountains for both pups and humans are available here, and waste stations are conveniently stocked with those necessary baggies. Human companions have some shaded places to sit.
