Dog Areas in Brigham City

3 Eateries

Thanks to the Wasatch Range providing Brigham Citywith a dramatic backdrop, there are spectacular views to be had wherever you take your pooch in this puptown! With city parks, hiking trails, dog-friendly restaurants, and two veterinary clinics, this is a city waiting to be explored by those four furry paws.

With so many parks sprinkled throughout the city, you and your pooch will never be too far away from a green area to explore. Snow Park is one of these, with its playground, sports facilities and picnic areas, while the Mary E. Christensen Park has all of that, plus a walking path that your dog will love.

After all of that walking, stop for a bite to eat at one of Brigham City's dog-friendly restaurants. The Idle Isle Café always has some delicious daily specials that you and your pup can enjoy at one of their two outdoor tables, as well as a sister candy shop for a sweet treat. The Old Grist Mill Bread Company also has dog-friendly tables, and all of their dishes feature their fresh breads that are baked daily.

With so many spacious green areas, all of which showcase the magnificent mountains nearby, Brigham City's pawtastic walks are worth visiting the area for.

The Route 38/ W 4575 N neighborhood is home to a multitude of city parks, including Brigham City's one and only dog park. Located directly behind the PetsFirst! Wellness Center, The Barking Lot is a fully fenced-off park where Fido is free to run off the lead. Keep in mind that all dogs need to be wearing up-to-date license and vaccination tags, and although doggie bags are provided, you will need to bring some water. For a leisurely on-lead walk, head to the Rees Pioneer Park, which is home to everything from sports facilities to a large fishing pond to a Gold Medal Mile walking trail.

This neighborhood is the area to go for some of Brigham City's best hiking trails. The Waterfall Canyon Trail is always popular, stretching out for two and a half miles and passing by two roaring waterfalls. With so much water around, you won't need to bring any for Fido. Located just near Waterfall Canyon are Bowden Canyon and Kotter Canyon, and while there are no established trails here, they still make for some pawsome dog walks. Water and doggie bags are essential, as is a strong lead, as you will need to take extra special care of Fido when walking near any cliff edges.
