Brunswick is a small town on the outskirts of Cleveland, only 25 miles from the city's downtown area. Although small, the town has gained popularity over the last few years. Brunswick has been creating more and more dog-friendly parks, and also provides over 5 veterinarians.
Residents and visitors come from over to take their pups to the Brunswick Dog Park, one of the only dog parks in the area. The park is fenced-in with double-gated entrances and a separate space for large and small dogs. There are a few trees that provide shade, with water fountains, clean-up stations, and trash bins available for use.
For something a little bit more outdoorsy, head to the northern side of town where the Princess Ledges Nature Preserve is located. The dog-friendly preserve has over 50 acres of protected open space and thick forests. The quiet park has lots of shade, a 1-mile hiking loop, and a picnic area for visitors. Dogs do not have to be on a leash while inside the park, but you will need to bring water and clean-up bags.
Whether you need a quiet, nature-filled place to hang out with Fido or a developed, well-kept park to go for a walk in, Brunswick has that and much for in store for you and your pup.
