Buffalo Estates is a small residential neighborhood that sits off East Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Tampa. This tiny community, comprised of about five streets of quiet houses, is a lovely area if you're looking for a walk set away from Tampa's bustling downtown area. While there isn't much in regards to dining or shopping, Buffalo Estates is the headquarters for Punky & Purty's Mobile Pet Grooming, a popular mobile grooming service. Maybe you'll see the truck driving around during your walk!

Tampa features a humid subtropical climate, meaning the area stays warm year-round with a few rainy days in the winter. While temperatures are slightly cooler in the winter, they can still reach the high 80s. Always check the weather before heading out as hot days are not ideal for dogs! You can also try walking your pup in the early morning when it's still slightly cooler before the temperatures rise.

Buffalo Estates is a tiny neighborhood that spans, at most, a half-mile. As an entirely residential area featuring single-family homes, it's a quiet respite from the city. The roads are reasonably quiet and greenery surrounds the sidewalks. There are many trees offering shade which is perfect if it's particularly hot outside. While there aren't many parks in the neighborhood, you'll enjoy walking past green lawns and shady trees. The neighborhood is very walkable and accessible as it has two entrances from East Dr. M.L.K. Jr. Boulevard. While there are sidewalks on the boulevard, it is a busy highway. Try to avoid walking near there, especially if your pet is frightened by fast-moving vehicles. Stick to the quiet streets of Buffalo Estates and you and your furry friend are sure to have a great time.
