Crapo Park Burlington

This cozy residential neighborhood is in the southern part of the city, nestled right along the Mississippi River. With views of the river, Dankwardt Memorial Park offers over 43 acres of open fields and paved walkways for Fido to use. Leashed pups can explore forested trails and recreational fields, like 3 fenced-in baseball fields, enclosed tennis courts, and a basketball court. Additionally, there are water fountains, clean-up stations, picnic areas, pavilions, trash bins, and benches. The park's trails also connect to an out-of-park trail known as Sewer Trail, which is a small half a mile trail that follows the river, and is made from concrete with benches along the trail.

One of the largest parks in the neighborhood is Perkins Park, which offers an 18-acre area with grassy fields and lots of shade. Whether playing in the open areas or walking along the paved trails, dogs must remain on a leash and under voice commands.
