The Molalla River State Park in Canby is a true pup’s paradise. The off-leash area is one of the largest in Clackamas County, with plenty of space for your pooch to leap about to their heart’s content! Champoeg State Park in nearby Saint Paul is best known for its plentiful, family-friendly camping, but it also has its own off-leash area! While this open green field is nowhere near as large as the one at Molalla River Park, there’s still plenty of space for your pooch to tire themselves out, and water and bags are provided. Like the Molalla River Dog Park, this one isn’t enclosed, so be mindful of your pup’s temperament! As an added bonus, there’s a little creek running through the dog park, and plenty of trails for leashed walks in the state park itself.

Canby’s closest neighbor, Wilsonville, is well worth a visit. You and your pooch can take the historic ferry across the Williamette River to Memorial Park, a furrific little spot with its own dog park! Unlike the one in North Canby, this park is fenced in and has a separate area for large or small dogs, so your buddy can socialize no matter their size.
