The Meadows
The meadows is a master planned community located in Castle Rock. Even though it's not very big, it's very dog-friendly. In this small community, there are two parks specifically for man's best friend. The first one is Castle Rock Dog Park on Meadows Blvd, and the second one is Wiggly Field Dog Park. Castle Rock Dog Park is a fully fenced, off-leash dog park where your dog can have lots of fun running around and playing. Outside of the gated area, there is a water fountain, picnic tables and benches. Poo bags are provided, and the park can be reserved for doggie parties. Wiggly Field Dog Park has ramps and jumps for maximum fun and training, but you have to bring your own water here.

Central
In central Castle Rock, there is another park that's pawfect for anyone who enjoys the company of their canine companion. The park is called Fairgrounds Regional Dog Park and it's a fenced off-leash doggie park. The park is located in the easternmost point of the Fairgrounds Regional Park, which is a 37-acre park where dogs are allowed on-leash. For off-leash fun, you can access the dog park from the main entrance. Furthermore, there is a picnic shelter located next to the dog park so your whole family can enjoy a day out. There is water available at the park and restrooms for the human visitors. There is a huge parking lot in front of the park as well.

South Havana Street
Around 9 miles north of Castle Rock, following the South Havana Street, just across Castle Pines, is Glendale Farm Open Space Dog Park. The whole Glendale Open Space Trail is completely dog-friendly; just keep your pup on-leash. For off-leash fun and exercise, there is the designated area in the park. It's 17 acres and has lots of space for running around. Moreover, the park offers a small agility course for even more fun. There are benches for the dog owners and some extra nice views. The park is completely free, which means no entrance fees. Make sure you bring enough water for you and your four-legged buddy.

Littleton
Approximately 18 miles northwest of Castle Rock there is a city called Littleton. In Littleton, you'll find Chatfield State Park Off-Leash Dog Area by the Chatfield Lake. This park offers 70 acres of off-leash dog fun. The park includes several trails and ponds for maximum fun. There is an entrance fee. Make sure you bring waste bags and plenty of water. The park has a double gated security system, and there are two restrooms just outside the park. There are warning signs about some possible bacteria in the ponds, so make sure you rinse your dog's fur well after swimming. Moreover, in Littleton you can find Meadowlark Trail Loop, David A. Lorenz Regional Dog Park, Wynetka Ponds Dog Park and Englewood Canine Corral.

Meadow Hills
Around 20 miles north of Castle Creek is the Cherry Creek State Park Off-Leash Dog Area located in Cherry Creek State Park, Aurora. There are over 100 acres of off-leash freedom for your beloved pets. Swimming in the creek is not only allowed, but encouraged! You should bring waste bags with you and water for your soon-to-be very thirsty doggie. There is a fee to enter the state park, and then an additional fee for the dog area. Yearly passes are available. A little bit further from Cherry Creek State Park, you can find another dog park called Grandview Dog Park which is an off-leash fenced dog park with a separate area for small dogs.
