Follow the trail through trees and past farmland. There is plenty of shade, so the trail is fine to use during the dog days of summer. Although the pavement does end, a dirt trail continues on to the neighboring city of Highland.

Outdoor enthusiasts come from all over to climb, bike, hike, and camp in this beautiful canyon. One of the most scenic spots to hike is the Timpooneke Trail that leads to the top Mount Timpanogos. If your pup doesn’t want to make the 7.5 mile trek to the summit, follow the trail 1.5 miles to Scout Falls, a creek that cascades over some mossy cliffs.
