East Clarkdale

Grab Fido and check out the Tuzigoot National Monument together. This pueblo ruin stands 120-feet above the Verde River and offers 110 rooms inside of it. The monument welcomes your dog to explore the area and hike on the rails with you, and even allows your pup to become a Bark Ranger and receive a badge if he follows the rules. Take a great hike with your dog while at the monument, but make sure to keep him on a leash. Bring water along with you since the trails don't offer any shade and it will get hot.
