This 23 acre park has multiple ball fields, tennis courts, volleyball courts, and picnic pavilions. In addition, there are two jogging and walking paths, both under a mile. If he needs more mileage, hop on the Denver and Rio Grande Western Rail Trail. This trail stretches across three cities and runs 24 miles, so you’ll have plenty of room to tucker out your pup.

Located in the South Main neighborhood, this park spans 17 acres and has plenty of green space for your pup to enjoy. After sniffing around the grassy fields, she can trot down the paved walking path. It clocks in at about a half mile, so if she’s got a lot of energy, you may need to take a few laps. For a change of scenery, head over to the nearby Island View Park. Bring a snack and some water and take a break before walking around this park’s path.

If you have a mountain loving dog, head over to the Adams Canyon Trail. It’s located in Layton and is just a 10 mile drive from Clearfield. This pup-ular trail is 3.5 miles and takes you through some beautiful Wasatch Mountain scenery. It follows the North Fork of Holmes Creek and includes two crossings, one on a bridge and the other on rocks. If your pup gets a little too hot, he can cool his paws off in this refreshing creek. The trail ends at a stunning 40 foot waterfall. Hang out for a while and feel the spray from the falls before making your way back down the trail. Sounds pawsitively amazing!
