Coachella is a popular city that enjoys a lot of tourism throughout the year, despite its rural area and surrounding deserts. The town is best known for its annual hosting of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, but is also known as the City of Eternal Sunshine that provides plenty more for residents of the city. There's plenty of lush and vibrant spaces that stick out from the desert landscape, most of which are dog-friendly to four-legged residents and visitors.

Bagdouma Park is the creme de crop when it comes to parks in the Coachella area. The park is open with lots of vegetation and green grass to run around on, and is surrounded by a paved walkway. There are 4 fenced-in baseball fields, multiple picnic pavilions, restrooms, a playground, picnic areas, and nighttime lights. Dogs do have to be on a leash inside the park, but can also enjoy features like water fountains, clean-up stations, and benches.

The Vietnam Veterans Park is a small, but open park in the middle of the city offering green space and paved walkways to use for humans and leash pups. The area has a large area for running, playing, and picnicking events, with an encircling trail, picnic tables, benches, water fountains, and trash bins available.

Although Coachella only offers one animal hospital, it offers much more in dog-friendliness and openness to the city's four-legged pals.
