College Park, Maryland, perhaps best known for being home to the University of Maryland’s Colle Park campus, is a hustlin’ and bustlin’ city that shouldn’t be overlooked. With many different shopping centers, restaurants, and recreational venues, there’s always something to do in this city that falls just about halfway between Washington, D.C., and Baltimore. That’s no surprise, though; College Park has been in the works for development since way back in 1889, when it was a stop on the railroad tracks.

If you’re looking for a great place to spend some time with any canine companions you might have, College Park is great for them, too! College Park has a few different veterinarian clinics, so if one doesn’t work with your schedule, the other might; one even has someone on-call around the clock, ensuring that you can get care for your dog during any emergencies. There are also plenty of places to go for a walk with Fido; downtown College Park has plenty of wide sidewalks where you’re sure to see plenty of smiling faces directed at your dog. There are also a few dog-friendly restaurants in town. College Park is a great place for both you and your pooch!
