Downtown Houston is home to many of the city's biggest attractions, great restaurants, a bustling theater scene, and the city's biggest business district. It will take you and your pooch about a 40-minute drive to get to the Discovery Green Dog Park in downtown Houston, but it will be worth the trip! There are two separate, fenced-in dog runs for big and small dogs, water fountains, benches, and mulch. There are often shows and events in the surrounding park, and your dog is welcome to join you for those too, but unless they're in a designated dog run, they must be on a leash.
