Crystal Lake Park is a tiny community where everyone knows everyone. This community is an oasis surrounded by the much larger municipalities of Town and Country to the north, Frontenac to the east, and Des Peres to the west. This community has no commercial enterprises, but veterinary clinics are many in the adjacent communities.
Crystal Lake Park is proud to have its own city park, Hunter Park. This park is located on Putter Lane, and is a small green place where residents can mingle and talk. Dogs are welcome here on-leash. There is a small walking area around the playground area, and a nice large grassy space. Crystal Lake Park shows it welcomes your pup with a doggie waste station near the park that reminds everyone to keep the park clean. There are a couple of park benches under nice shade trees for stops and snacks.
If you and your four-legged pal need bigger adventures, head out of town and into the neighboring communities. Queeny Park on Weidman Road is a short 8-mile drive from Crystal Lake Park. This large St. Louis County park has everything you want in a park, including two stocked fishing lakes, numerous picnic sites, pavilions, 8 designated trails, a dog park, and even the Dog Museum!
