Cupertino, located in the western part of the Santa Clara Valley, is a puptastic place for dog lovers to bring their furry friends. There are 13 community parks, a preserve, and four trails that you can explore together here. If you're in need of professional services for your pooch, there are four veterinary clinics in this area.

Take your four-footed friend to Memorial Park off Stevens Creek Blvd and Mary Avenue to get some fresh air and exercise. This 28-acre facility includes open lawn, walking/jogging trails, athletic fields, and picnic areas. Follow the paved pathway with your leashed pup as it winds around the amphitheater, fields, and Veterans Memorial.

When you want an outdoor adventure with your special pal, head to Stevens Creek County Park. There's over nine miles of hiking trails in this 1,063-acre facility. You can also bring along a non-motorized boat and launch out in the reservoir with your pooch. 

Just south of the county park, you and Fido can explore the Freemont Older Open Space Preserve. Dogs on a leash are welcome to join you on the trails in this 739-acre area. Hike with your pup along the rolling hills,  through the woods, and past hay fields.

Up in the northwestern part of Cupertino, the neighborhood of Creston is near some community parks and Stevens Creek. When you want to take a break from walking down the sidewalks in the area, hop in the car with your pup and head to the Mary Avenue Dog Park. This small facility has two fenced enclosures that allow small and large dogs to play together off-leash. For one-on-one time with your pooch, you can go to Varian Park off Varian Way. There's a paved trail that circles the 6.3-acre facility. Walk or jog with your canine companion past the playground and picnic area. Dogs need to be on a leash here.

A former horse ranch, this 18-acre facility features a garden, historic buildings, and a nature museum. Wander along the Stevens Creek Trail as it follows the creek through fields and wooded areas.
