Featuring five separate parks and easy freeway access, Deforest Community is the ideal place to be. The biggest of these parks, Northern Corridor Park, lies at the eastern edge of the neighborhood. This 52 acre plot of land has everything from forested areas to open fields with ponds and rivers. As an added bonus, this park is home to the Marvin & Marie Schweers Dog Park, located at the northeast corner of this large area. All dogs must be licensed and vaccinated to enter this off leash area, as well as hold a park permit. This permit is free to local residents, and $3 a day for visitors. Your pup is certain to have a blast!

Holland Fields
Holland Fields is a small, peaceful community with an easygoing atmosphere. Right off Cradle Hill Drive is Cradle Hill Park, a quaint area with a small stretch of green that offers a unique, tucked away place for you to take your pup on his daily walk.
