Take Fido out to the Mill Creek Park for a fun afternoon out with you. The park features a playground and a creek that your dog can splash around in. There are a few trails throughout where you and Fido can get a walk in before heading out to eat at one of the two great restaurants by the park. The Dexter Bakery serves traditional bakery goods including breads, muffins, donuts, and pretzels. They offer vegan, gluten-free, and egg-free items as well. Joe and Rosie is a coffee and tea joint that you and your pup can chill at together. They offer wraps to snack on, and even give Fido a water bowl while you chill. Both of these great restaurants offer dog friendly patios.

Go on a fun adventure through the Sloan Preserve. Here, you'll find tons of different hiking trails that you and your pup can get a good hike on together. The preserve is known to be a little buggy and has poision ivy, so come prepared if you want to explore this fun area with your furry pal. The recreational area offers a 1-mile trail that you both can walk in, plus a play area with a pond, an agility yard, and a double gated system so Fido can't escape as he roams free. The recreation area also offers water for humans and dogs, plus benches for owners to sit on and watch the dogs have some fun. The park does require a membership to enter the park, which includes a behavioral test for your pup, so be prepared before you visit.

This pawsome park offers a separated area for large and small dogs, and is open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. The park offers tons of grass that your dog can run on, and benches for owners to relax on and watch pups have a great time. An annual pass is needed for you two to visit this park, so be prepared. If your dog isn't a fan of dog parks, take him for a stroll around Olson Park. The 54-acre park offers a pond, trails, sport courts, and playground.
