Point Dillon is where you will find the pupperific Dillon Town Park just a short walk away! This park is loved by local dog walkers for its location and family-friendly atmosphere. You can bring the whole family to enjoy the playgrounds, sledding in the winter, grills and picnic area. Summerwood
Summerwood is a prime real estate gem is where you will find the entrance to the Tenderfoot Trailhead just a few minutes away. This trail is 1.6 miles long and is friendly for hikers and dogs of all skill levels. The best months to use the trail are June through September. A harness is recommended if you plan on going off the trails. If you work up an appetite during your hike, check out Cala Pub and Restaurant. This casual spot serves up a variety of delicious Irish pub style dishes that you can enjoy with your dog at one of their six outdoor tables. The restaurant is open every day at 11:30 until midnight.

Silver Queen West
Silver Queen West is an area just outside of Dillon to the west, about a five-minute drive away. Silverthorne was originally founded for the workers who were building the Dillon Dam in the 1960's. The town has grown quickly and is a pupular place to find plenty of outdoor activities. You will find Arctic Placer Park on this side of the town. The park is about one acre of picnic areas, playground equipment, and access to the White River National Forest Land if you follow the trails right outside of the neighborhood. Dogs are welcome on the trails as long as they are wearing a leash.

Blue River Flats
Blue River Flats is a community right on the edge of Blue River, about 5 minutes away from Dillon, and just a few minutes away from Rainbow Park, a pupular seven-acre park right off of Rainbow Drive. The park has actvities for every member of the family, with a skatepark, field, tennis courts, basektball and volleyball, and a playground for little ones! Dogs walking with their favorite humans are a common sight throughout the park, so make sure you have a good leash and your pup is prepared to share space with others! The Blue River itself is known for attracting visitors to its sparkling waters.

Hamilton Creek
Hamilton Creek is a puptastic, secluded little neighborhood about ten minutes from Dillon that is great for those who love the outdoors. You will find Trent Park is a wonderful place to take your dog for a walk just a few minutes away with almost four acres to explore, along with a playground and athletic courts. There is even a small fishing pond just for kids! Not far away is the Willowbrook Trailhead, where you can pick either of the two trails for a scenic hike down through the Willow Creek area. You can view wildlife, local plants, and waterfalls from this puptacular outdoor oasis. Just bring a good harness so that your dog is comfortable.
