Dublin is fairly unique in the fact that it is spread into three counties in Ohio when most cities are in one or two counties, and it is a newly founded city that was incorporated in 1987. The city has over 1,000 acres of parks with almost 80 miles of trails and 39 parks on the Scioto River. The people of Dublin have 9,795 dogs as pets so you and Fido will find a lot to do while you are there.

The only “official” dog park is Nando’s in Darree Fields on Cosgray Drive, which was named after the city’s first police dog. Nando’s is a two-acre fenced area that has small and large dog sections, benches, picnic tables, and dog agility equipment; such as a hoop jump, doggy table, ramp, tunnels, and a dog jump. There is also a box for pet waste bags and lots of trash cans. The adjoining park has over 150 acres of fun with ball fields, a nature area, restrooms, playgrounds, and hiking paths.

Indian Meadows Park on Fallen Timbers Road is an excellent place to bring your furbaby to hike and play. It has over 30 acres with fishing, nature area, playground, gardens, and gorgeous hiking paths. You and Fido can get your exercise here and enjoy the waterfall while you are there.
