Touted as NYC’s hottest new neighborhood, densely-populated East New York is expanding rapidly. The area was rezoned in 2016, which made this Brooklyn borough an attractive spot for investors. East New York is also a great spot to find affordable housing in the Big Apple, and the number of available residential properties has spiked in the last year.

It’s also the pawfect place to be a dog owner! East New York is home to a short trail that's perfect for a quick walk with a leashed dog. For everything else, you'll just need to travel a short distance into other Brooklyn neighborhoods. Brooklyn and its surrounding areas are home to over 50 vet clinics, so you’ll never have to worry about finding quality vet care. Treat your pooch to a fancy dinner date at Tatiana, an upscale Russian eatery that welcomes dogs at its outdoor tables.

Work off all those calories at one of Brooklyn’s 16 dog parks. Make sure to check out Sirius Dog Run, which is named in honor of a Lab who died during the 9/11 search and rescue operations. It's a small park, but your pooch is sure to have a howlin' good time!
