East Windsor is nestled in Hartford County on the banks of the Connecticut River. Although the area was first settled in 1638, East Windsor wasn’t formed until the mid-18th century. Due to its waterfront location, it was a main transfer station for goods, as well as a home to many textile mills. Now, it’s a well preserved small town with a tight knit community. Although East Windsor doesn’t have its own veterinary clinic, canine care is just 10 minutes away in South Windsor.

If you and your furry traveling companion need a place to stay, make a reservation at Baymont Inn and Suites. For just a small fee, your pal can sleep soundly in one of the cozy rooms. Be sure to take advantage of the complimentary breakfast; you’ll need energy to keep up with your canine companion.  Dogs are also welcome at Rodeway Inn and Suites. Only minutes from Bradley Airport, this puptastic hotel is doggone convenient if you arriving by plane.

Treat your pup to a walk in East Windsor Park. Ball fields, sport courts, and a swimming area draw out the two legged locals. Your pooch will love meandering through the open lawn areas and walking alongside the ponds. No wonder pups love hanging out in East Windsor!
