Sloan Lake
Sloan Lake is both a neighborhood and a park in Denver located about ten minutes away from Edgewater. The area was formed somewhat by accident in the 1860s, when a local farmer named Thomas Sloan accidentally hit an aquifer and flooded his entire farm. Over time, the aquifer formed what would become Denver's largerst lake, at 177 acres. If you are looking for a great place to take Sparky for a walk after work, there is a 2.8 mile path that winds through the park.
