After your jaunt, check out the neighborhood’s fur-iendly park, Lions Park. It’s a woofderful spot for a picnic with covered tables and barbecue grills, plus lots of open grassy areas where leashed dogs are welcome.

Fido craving some off-leash fun? Visit the Route 9/ Cove Rd neighborhood in Sedro-Woolley, about 12 miles from Edison. The neighborhood’s Riverfront Park has a special off-leash area, the Bark Park, which is a fully fenced-in park where your pup will have a blast running, playing and socializing. There’s tons of grass, a play tunnel, drinking water, and benches where humans can relax while their four-legged friends play. The park also has a pawsome off-leash area, the Bakerview Dog Park! This fully fenced-in park has tons of grass and tons of room for a game a fetch. There’s also a play tunnel, a doggie waste cleanup station and a seasonal water spigot for drinking water. Bakerview Dog Park has a separate area for small dogs, too.
