At nearly three hundred acres, it’s easy to isolate from busy streets and crowds. This is ideal for older and more sensitive dogs who don’t like a lot of noise. The park comes complete with five miles of walking trails and countless combinations, so each walk is a new experience! Because this park is not fenced in, you do have to keep your dog leashed. With so much to do, you and your pup are certain to have a blast!

This long standing park, a little over a hundred acres, is dotted with beautiful trees and is host to one and a half miles of paved trails for scenic walks. There’s a beautiful fishing pond that overlooks the park. It’s not fenced in, so make sure your pups are leashed before you take them out. The park is built to be somewhat isolated, so sensitive pups or easily overexcited dogs won’t be too overstimulated here. Perfect for a quiet afternoon stroll!

Closer to the northern end is Bickham-Rudkin Park, with nearly fifty acres that’s home to grass, trees, and scenic trails. For those dogs that absolutely need to run, take them down to the Edmond Dog Park within Bickham-Rudkin Park. This fenced in area is four acres in total, allowing plenty of room for your pooch to roam off leash and play with other dogs. For a quieter area, Whispering Heights Park is just south and isn’t even two acres in total. It’s shady trees and grassy areas are perfect for a more tucked away option, ideal for dogs who prefer to be left alone.

Parker Estates is a bustling area with a lively atmosphere. It’s home to Anderson Park, a cozy local area with well kept grass and beautifully planted shade trees. Anderson Park happens to be right next to a main road, so if your pup is easily spooked by passing traffic be sure to keep to the west side where cars won’t be passing by. As always, all dogs must be properly leashed while in the park to be sure everyone has a pawtastic time!
