Located in the Sonoma Valley, the small community of Eldridge is primarily residential. This area is 15 miles southeast of Santa Rosa, and it's located near a number of parks and trails that allow dogs. The closest veterinarians are about three miles south of town, in the Fetters Hot Springs area.

Treat your special pal to a play date at Ernie Smith Park on Gillman Drive. This facility features an off-leash exercise area for dogs and some lovely walking trails. Let your pup romp with other canines for a spell, then leash up and take a walk through the rest of the park. 

Take your fur baby with you when you tour the Madrone Vineyards Estate. Walk along the pathway in this 60-acre property. Dogs on a leash are permitted on the grounds of this family business. Make sure you bring waste bags and immediately clean up any doggie waste.

Plan a day in the park with your canine companion. Head to Crane Creek Regional Park, about 14 miles west of town. This 128-acre facility features open grassland and stands of oak trees. Hike along the 3.5 miles of trails here. Dogs on a leash can join you. Pack plenty of water and some waste bags.
