Blake Lane Dog Park on Blake Lane has two open areas with no gates and one closed area. A well-established group of trees provide a nice amount of shade and watering stations in various areas around the park keep Fido hydrated after runabouts. Daniel’s Run Park, located on Tedrich Boulevard, has a wooded area, small stream, plenty of hiking trails, and a really cool playground. The Ashby Pond Conservatory Site on Ashby Road is on four acres and has a natural pond, picnic tables, and a walking trail.

There are also some great restaurants you can enjoy with Fido in the city of Fairfax. Woody's Ice Cream on North Street plays oldies on the radio and has tables outside. They will even offer your fur baby a free dish of ice cream. At Bernie’s Delicatessen on Chain Bridge Road, they have outdoor tables, excellent sandwiches, and you can enjoy a beer or two. Courtside Thai is also on Chain Bridge road and has a huge assortment of Thai food with outdoor tables so your pets can eat with you.

There are benches for the owners, and water bowls readily available, so your pup won’t dehydrate while he’s out playing with friends. There’s no need for leashes here, but do remember to clean up after your pooch! Your pup will simply love you for taking him here.
