Stroll through the beautiful Beebe Woods — it spans almost 400 acres and welcomes leashed dogs through all of its hiking trails. Or, stop by Goodwill Park for a walk around its two scenic ponds, Long Pond and Grews Pond. After you’ve worked up your appetite, choose from the many dog-friendly restaurants in town: The Pickle Jar Kitchen is one of the local favorites with pet-friendly outdoor seating.

Teaticket
A great place to continue your Falmouth journey is in Teaticket. This welcoming neighborhood features Falmouth Dog Park. The 1.6-acre park has separate areas for small and large dogs as well as benches and water bubblers (they are turned off in the winter, however). It is a community-run venture maintained by volunteers, and it is free to the public. The community also hosts a number of activities for dog owners, so be sure to ask around to find out if there’s anything going on! Northwest of the dog park, you'll find Trotting Park, which is a bit bigger and can be a good spot for an on-leash walk.

East Falmouth is a fantastic neighborhood to visit out for anyone who wants to experience the natural beauty of Massachusetts, and it’s just a few miles from the center of town. Sea Farms Marsh epitomizes the wonderful coastal landscape; its 1.2-mile trail winds through ponds and marshes and provides an excellent place to glimpse the diverse array of wildlife native to this region. Rest your legs on the bench overlooking Black Duck Cove and you are sure to see some wonderful birds, like heron, osprey, and various kinds of duck. The nearby Coonamessett River and surrounding bogs also have areas open to the public that you may want to explore.

Martha's Vineyard
A great way to enjoy your trip to Falmouth is to take the Island Queen Ferry across Vineyard Sound to Martha’s Vineyard. The short ferry ride welcomes leashed dogs at no additional cost! Once you’re across the sound, you’ll have lots to do. Easterville Point Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in the area, and it welcomes on-leash dogs. Also be sure to stop by the Black Dog Tavern. While they don’t allow dogs inside, you can get something to take out for you and your pawesome pal — and they also make homemade dog treats! When you’re all done, it's just a short ferry ride back to Falmouth.

The Anna Moraine Trail has over nine miles of walkable area for you to explore. You are sure to catch a glimpse of some wildlife as you are walking through quiet woods and past still ponds. The Kettle Holes section of the trail is accessible from Blacksmith Shop Road. Wing Pond Woods is another great spot in West Falmouth, and it has over two miles of trails which pass charming brooks, cranberry bogs, and rustic farms.
