The Memory Grove Off-Leash Area at Freedom Trail on the eastern side of Salt Lake City, Utah is only 20 minutes from Farmington! You and your dog are sure to make great memories  Freedom Trail, which is an 8.75-acre park that also has picnic facilities and monuments. The off-leash park is a local favorite, and it's an especially popular place on weekends. This off-leash area doesn't have fences built around it, but there are natural boundaries enclosing the area. There are waste disposal supplies provided by the park, but be sure to bring your own water. Your dog is welcome to swim in the creek at Freedom Trail, too!

Ogden, Utah is less than 20 miles from Farmington. In southern Ogden, there's a place called the South Ogden Dog Park at Club Heights, and this two-acre off-leash park is full of fun! This dog park doesn't have a separate area for small dogs. Instead, dogs of all sizes and breeds interact in the same space. There's lots of room for everyone, and you can watch your dog run in the open field, or visit the area of the park with lots of trees. There are chairs for owners, plenty of toys, and a double-gated entry system, but make sure you bring your own drinking water for Fido!

Southeast Salt Lake City is a 20-minute drive from Farmington, and this is where you can find Herman Franks Park. This 10-acre park has sports fields, a playground, and its very own off-leash park! The Herman Franks Dog Park is one large space for dogs of all sizes and breeds to play together, so if your little dog isn't comfortable with big dogs or vice versa, consider visiting a different park. Visitors love how friendly the park regulars are at Herman Franks, and there's also running water during the warm months of the year, as well as seating and waste disposal supplies provided by the park.

In just over 20 minutes, you and your pooch can drive from Farmington to the eastern Salt Lake City area known as Greater Avenues. This is also where you'll find Lindsey Gardens Park. This 15.25-acre park has ball diamonds, a playground, picnic facilities, pavilions, and its own dog park! The Lindsey Gardens Dog Park isn't a fenced off-leash space, so if your dog doesn't have good recall skills, it's best to keep them on a leash. There is a natural border made of trees surrounding the dog park, however, and it's situated on a hill that's fun for dogs to race up and down. There's a doggy water fountain at the park, but during the winter, it's best to bring your own water.,

Jordan Park is a 33.5-acre space in the southern Salt Lake City area of Glendale, and it's less than 20 minutes from Farmington. There are volleyball and tennis courts, playgrounds, sports fields, gardens, picnic facilities, and an off-leash dog area in this popular family park. There are two areas of the off-leash park, and they're rotated to allow the grass to regrow. There's a paved walking path throughout the off-leash area that you can use while your dog runs and plays in the open fields. Your dog can join you in other areas of the park as well, but they're required to be on a leash.
