Dog Areas in Favoretta

Favoretta is a small town in northern Florida, only 23 minutes from the beach. Wadsworth Park is a local 60,000 square foot, fenced dog park where your furry friends can run unleashed and mingle. The park features separate sections for large and small dogs and provides benches for you to sit and watch your pal.

A nice eatery for you and your four-legged friends is High Tides at Snack Jack, where they specialize in fish and shrimp tacos. Well-behaved, leashed dogs are allowed on the north and south decks in the outdoor sections. Dogs are also allowed on the beach (just a few steps down), but you must have them on a leash. Servers will gladly bring water for your pup.

Another cool place to eat with your doggo is Oceanside Beach Bar & Grill, which serves traditional Mediterranean cuisine at dog-friendly outside seating. The pizza is something not to be missed, and their nachos are delectable with their own blend of cheeses. Lastly, their beer-battered meatballs with homemade marinara are mouthwatering.

Stop by Sally's Ice Cream with Fido to grab a frosty cone, and have a seat at one of their pet-friendly tables. Choose from over 40 creamy flavors for your ice cream, milkshakes, banana splits, flurries, malts, root beer floats, smoothies, and more. Sally's offers your four-legged friends a dollop of ice cream topped with a dog biscuit.
