Fuhrmans Mill
West Manheim Park in Fuhrmans Mill is a great place to bring dogs who need a lot of off leash running time. The park can be hard to find, as it’s set far back from the road, so you need to walk out of sight of the parking lot to find it. Once you have, you’ll know why dogs flock to this park. There are two very large, entirely fenced in areas where dogs are welcome to run off leash! The first and slightly smaller area is for dogs under 30 pounds. The second area is for larger dogs. Dogs are going to have a fantastic time!

Delone Avenue/Moose Recreation Park is a large, open area in McSherrystown. This multi-use park is a great place to take your dog when you want a different look than your typical walk. This space has a few sports fields marked off, along with a small picnic area. The majority of the park is smooth grass, perfect for walking laps and letting your best friend work out some energy. The park is also popular for neighborhood events. Sadly, despite the name, there are no moose in the park!
